The Unattainable is not too far away. I can see it in the distance. Yet with ever step in its direction, it gets farther away. Existing as woman today is an endless cycle of déjà vu, as expectation and reality unavoidably clash. I am confused by our collective memory of romance and gender and feel ultimately deceived by it. I battle between the collective memory of the past and the sobering truth of the present, trying to figure out who I am as a single female entity.

What you see is filtered for you.
Let private notions become public.
